The mid-sized 300 6G is a floorstanding loudspeaker capable of delivering pristine, room-filling sound from its relatively compact dimensions. It boasts the latest MPD III high-frequency transducer alongside an HDT, C-CAM 3-inch mid-driver and twin 6-inch bass drivers.

The Gold 300 6G is the mid-sized floorstanding speaker within the Gold Series 6G. It boats a smaller footprint and slimmer profile compared to the 500 6G and offers outstanding levels of performance and system design at its price. Designed to house the latest MPD III high-frequency transducer alongside the new 3-inch mid-driver and powerful twin 6-inch bass drivers, each of which benefit from the latest HDT, C-CAM cone technology and hugely powerful motor systems. The Gold 300 6G delivers music and movie scores with pure, detailed high-fidelity sound.

Monitor Audio has been leading the industry in the field of metal driver cone technology for over 40 years. The new Gold Series 6G boasts a totally new metal cone technology in the form of HDT (Hexagonal Diaphragm Technology).

HDT draws on the design of the RDT III cones utilized in Hyphn and the Platinum Series, which consist of a Nomex honeycomb layer sandwiched between Aluminum and Carbon Fibre skins. The new HDT cone employs a hexagonal pattern to disrupt symmetries in the cone breakup.

Crossover Design – the purest of signals.

Gold Series 6G’s crossovers have been developed using high-quality capacitors and have undergone hundreds of hours of listening by Monitor Audio’s acoustics team. Many iterations have been repeatedly tested to ensure the smoothest, cleanest audio signal is delivered to each drive unit.

Plinth and foot assembly

Providing the most stable platform possible for the Gold Series 6G floorstanding speakers to perform from, cast aluminum outrigger style assemblies with steel bracing allow the user to adjust the speaker level with ease.

A machined magnetic top cap, hides the hex key adjustment – and with a simple twist, the height of the spike or rubber foot (depending on the floor surface) can be adjusted simply to find the perfect level.
